Our Story

Knight Crafted was birthed out of the 2007 Recession in Central Oregon by Randall Knight. Randall was in management at a local trade company at the time. He often visited job sites where scrap lumber was tossed out and going to the dump. Everyday Randall would fill the lumber rack of his truck with old and discarded wood. Every night when he got home from work he carefully stacked the boards. The first things Randall made were step stools for his kids then a garden hutch for his wife. He made rustic furniture out of all sorts of recycled materials.

Randall then started woodcarving. He carved everything from small figurines to prominent political figures. In under a year, Randall went from not knowing anything about woodcarving to teaching a class on it. This was the start of his journey from a hobbyist to becoming a woodworker, designer, and all-around maker.

Randall currently makes things such as farmhouse style tables, sleek modern tables, small Bluetooth radios, cornholes and so much more. There is a style unique that comes from Knight Crafted that appeals to people. Randall will keep investigating new designs and materials to make things people love.
